NapaNet can help you with creating a more interactive, fun, and self-maintained web site. We have created several tools that will allow you to maintain your own site, keep in touch with your client base, send email newsletters, and more. Take a look below at just some of the modules we have created.
Search Engine: Search your site and any other site you wish to index. It is always nice to allow your web site visitors easy access to information. What better way than to allow them to simply enter a keyword, hit search and get a full listing of search result based upon their entry.
Examples: http://www.thequeen.org/search.shtml and http://www.co.contra-costa.ca.us/cgi-bin/htsearch
The search will increase the amount of space your site requires. You will definitely want to have at-least a 50Mb account.
Hot Topics: This module allows you to add Hot Topic items to a dynamic menu on your home page and any other page of your site that you wish. When clicked, each of the topics will go to a more information page. This module is an excellent way to keep information on your site current and constantly changing. You can add a Topic within minutes without contacting a web developer.

You will need a mySQl database account
Special Events: Special Events module allows you to announce events on your web site on the fly. You have the ability to add an event, information about the event, an image for the event, and a form link so people can correspond with you regarding each particular event.

Photo Album: The Photo Album module is a great way to add a personal touch to any site. You have the ability to upload images to your web site via a web-based Administrative control panel. Each photo would have 2 versions, the thumbnail that will display on the main photo album page along with other thumbnails and the main image that is a larger version of the thumbnail. Once the caption on the thumbnail is clicked, a web site visitor would be directed to the larger image along with a description of the photo.

Monthly: You will need a mySQl database account
Special Events / Volunteer Solicitation: This module is the same as the Special Events module, only a Volunteer Solicitation database is created. Those interested in volunteering for one of the events you post can do so by clicking on the volunteer now button. They can volunteer their time, money, or other resources. Their information is sent to your ADMIN in the form of an email and is also maintained in a database for future reference.

The Newsletter Posting and Notification System: This is a database-driven Newsletter system that allows you to go into a username and password secured section of your web site and create a newsletter. The newsletter, once you create it, will go out to everyone in the recipients’ database. People can add themselves to the database on your web site by signing up either on the Newsletter section or any other location you would like. When the Newsletter goes out via email it will have a header graphic like the top of your site (so people can click on the buttons to visit your site) and it will have the topics you entered and the content under each topic. It is an easy to use system that is excellent for keeping people informed. All you do is go to the protected site, click "create new newsletter", enter a topic, then the content for the topic and so on. If you have 4 things to discuss, you would enter 4 topics and the content for the topics. All you do is type and then accept. When you accept it, it will automatically post the Newsletter Issue and date in a window located on your Home Page called "Newsletters". When someone clicks on one of the volumes, the newsletter appears. There will also be a section called "Newsletter" added to your web page.
Once the Newsletter is created and posted to your site, you can send it out to all recipients in your database. By the way, we are creating the database as well.
You do not need software or need to know how to do html. The system is managed on the web and all you need to know how to do is click and type!
